Another vid of the V8 mondeo this time taken on the rolling road run a couple of months ago

she made all of 165bhp but was overfueling badly so it needs the carbs set up properly and we should see nicely over 200bhp

yep i’ve just gone and bought a landrover discovery V8 as a run around for when i sell the ST220
nothing special but it’ll be good for towing and its cheaper to tax and insure

Well the ST220 went back on the rollers todaywith a few other cars from MEG

since the last time i’ve changed the exhaust and part fitted the NOS kit so i thought i’d see what sort of difference its had made

bearing in mind the NOS is not connected

well i got 10bhp more at the wheels than last time and a much better torque curve

so thats now upto 220bhp@the wheels and 195.5lb ft @the wheels

has not long ago been launced and it should be a goodun

as the title say i have now finish my boot build (for the time being anyway) and while i was at the Ripspeed donny show i had my windows tinted

and what a difference its made to the car

Well i was up at the Autosport show and thought it would be rude not to get the superchips bluefin unit for my ST220 which was even better value at the show price of £265

When i went to install it though i got a message on the screen saying “update required return to superchips” so thinking to myself oh god here we go

But supplied in the box is a pre paid special delivery sticker so its free of charge, not too bad but its still going to be a week before i get it back
To my surprise 2 days later i get a parcel back from superchips with my unit in it all ready to go

10 mins later and its all installed, MY first impressions are you can notice a difference as the engine picks up better and also has a higher rpm limiter

So thumbs up from me to Superchips and their Bluefin

Well i got one of these awhile ago as they were a good price on ebay.com at the time

when i tested my old mk1 2.0 mondeo i got some crap times
mainly due to the engine playing up, i’ve just got round to testing the ST220 and the times are a damn site better

mk1 2.0 0-60: 11.83secs
ST220 0-60: 6.68secs

i had problems with traction on the ST even with the traction control on as it was cold (2 degrees c)
